November 12th (evening): Annual Club Dinner at Ashbury Village Hall.Cliff has again agreed to put on one of his superb meals - for those new to the club who have yet to sample Cliff's food just talk to a club member for a recommendation. Please can Cliff have names for numbers and also volunteers to help with starters and puddings, etc, as required. Email fly@swindongliding.co.uk and your name will be forwarded. December 3rd: Club Annual General Meeting.At 4pm/after flying, whichever is the later. We are always looking for volunteers to help run things/carry out work at the club. So please talk to any committee member to see what is needed. You don't have to be on the committee to take responsibility for organising part of the many activities needed to keep the club operational. The evening will give an overview of the past year events at the club, help create a plan for the following season, and give members an important opportunity to discuss any ideas/suggestions they have for their club. Please can as many members as possible attend this important date. |
