Experience Gliding Gift Vouchers

Want a one off flight to enjoy views of Vale of White Horse from the air, or to experience gliding before deciding whether to joining the club as a full member? VoWHGC offers a range of Experience Gliding Introductory Lesson Gift Vouchers. Click here for full details.


Membership (applies from 10th May 2006)

Joining Fee:                                None.

Full flying membership:           £290 per year.

Corporate membership:           £198 per year. 

bullet

Family (husband/wife):             As above, 50% for 2nd member.

bullet

Associate membership:           £20 per year.
    (non flying).

bullet

Junior/Student membership:  £100 per year.
    (Minimum age 14 years. Payment due April or September).

bullet

Reciprocal membership:         £5 per day.
    (10 days maximum in any year, must show current membership).

bullet

Members guest fee:                  £5 per occasion.
    (Paid by member, limited use).

Launches

bullet

2000 foot aerotow: £23.50.
(+/- £1.00 per 200ft)

Club Glider Flying Fees

£15.60 per hour (26p/minute), free instruction.

Maule M-6-235 (including retrieves)

bullet

£110 per hour.
(Based on Hobbs readings).

Facilities Fees

Private glider facility (includes trailer parking) - £120 per annum.

bullet

Motor glider & T-hanger facility (includes trailer parking) - £360 per annum.

bullet

Use of club workshop (subject to prior booking) - £20 per week.
